Climate and Sustainable Design
Sustainability is a multifaceted concept, central to our ethos. We prioritize climate change concerns alongside community health and well-being in all our projects. Collaborating closely with clients, we tailor design solutions for operational and environmental optimization. Our in-house experts cover carbon impact, environmental analysis, materials research, and more, ensuring sustainable frameworks and ongoing performance monitoring.
CARBON FOOTPRINT
Our goal is to reach the Paris Agreement objectives. Even at their most advanced, present global sustainability assessment techniques fail to attain the agreed-upon maximum of a +1.5 degree increase in global temperatures. To properly examine our designs’ whole-life carbon footprint, we established our own complete assessment, which covers both embodied and operational carbon evaluations.
SKY+LINE’s main focus is to keep the carbon footprint in mind and design projects that are environmentally sustainable.
RETROFITTING
Retrofitting existing buildings is essential for achieving net-zero carbon goals, given that 40% of global emissions stem from the built environment. This involves adaptively repurposing structures to enhance performance and reduce embodied carbon.
Sky+Line has successfully executed these transformations in Europe and aims to introduce them in India.
Environmental Strategy
Guided by our environmental engineering team, we evaluate project environmental performance and devise innovative solutions for climate change impact. Post-Covid-19, we prioritize resilience, flexibility, health, and wellbeing. Our design integrates sustainability, natural resource efficiency, circular economy practices, biophilia, thermal comfort, and indoor air quality for an enhanced user experiences.

ABOUT THE LEADERSHIP-
Aakash Mathur is a built environment professional with a master's degree from the University of Manchester in Real Estate development, where he led notable research in London and clinched victory in a European real estate development and design competition with the Hines group. His achievements have been featured in prominent European media outlets like Property EU, FTI Consulting Belgium, France, and England. Aakash's work has also been published in Urban Land magazine, showcasing his expertise in development proposals and winning strategies.
His extensive experience includes collaborations with letsbuildUK on development proposals and appraisals, as well as contributions to mid-sized residential developments and refurbishments in the US. In India, Aakash worked with top architectural firms and developers on significant projects such as the Bihar Sadan (New Delhi), Patna collectorate, DLF Mall of India, Urban square Mall & Hotels, group housing ventures, resorts and commercial developments in South India before establishing SKY+Line Built.
Aakash's accolades extend to his Bachelor's degree in Architecture from BVP, Pune, where he excelled as a design topper and secured victories in national-level design competitions. He is a staunch advocate for sustainable built environments, emphasizing smart buildings and reduced carbon footprints for long-term project viability. Aakash is affiliated with prestigious organizations like the Indian Institute of Architects, Council of Architecture in India, and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in the United Kingdom, showcasing his commitment to professional excellence and innovation in development design.
